Our Salus Vita Compassion backpack "Congo" is named after the largest contiguous forest and the second largest tropical rainforest in the world. The Congo Basin is one of the richest, oldest and most diverse systems of flora and fauna on earth. Due to deforestation, rainforests are slowly disappearing, disrupting the planet's delicate ecological balance, releasing large amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and reducing the planet's ability to absorb CO2 emissions. Africa's rainforest is just as important to the indigenous cultures that have inhabited there for millennia. Made of durable Maruyama tarpaulin and upcycled denim. Weatherproof. With a name tag, adjustable shoulder straps and a chest strap for perfect weight distribution on the shoulders.
